Merrychase is a small family of four Cavaliers. Our desire is to produce the nicest Cavaliers possible without keeping a large kennel. All our Cavalier children sleep in our bedroom, eat in our kitchen and snooze on our Cavalier couch. And we like it that way.

Health, temperament and conformation, in that order, are most important to us. While we realize health for dogs (and humans) is a gift, all our Cavaliers and their intended sires are examined yearly by board certified veterinarians for any health problem that may affect Cavaliers.

We have fed fresh raw foods since 1996 and have had great health results from feeding natural foods. No chemicals are used in our house or on our yard, and we are very careful where we take our Cavaliers.

We are fortunate to have a holistic doctor (Dr. Cheryl Caputo) as our regular veterinarian. We follow her recommendations for all necessary medicines/procedures, including the limited use of vaccines.
